Challenge to ultra-precision die

I have been pursing high-accuracy parts that meet the times and been challenging to produce ultra-precision dies in order to supply them to the world.

  • Development of totally ground die:
    Obtaining high accuracy by heat treatment after filing and grinding after heat treatment.
    Realized "ten times" of productivity and "100-thousand punching per grinding".
  • Development of leadframe dies:
    Realized "five times" of productivity and cost reduction leading to "1/4 selling price".
    Also realized the production of ultra-multi-pin leadframe having "240 pins" advanced from that having "a few pins".

  • Development of carbide tool:
    Development of tool for cutting "ultra-hard material" having high hardness and difficult to cut.
    Realized "ten times" of life than that of long-life steel die.

  • Development of MAC system:
    A system to assemble motor cores in a stamping tool World first practical application.
    Realized "ten times" of assembling productivity and labor reduction from "ten workers " to "five workers".


Construction of new tool and die manufacturing factory

Needs of downsizing and high efficiency for motors have been getting stricter year by year and, accompanying such tendency, material to be pressed has been thinner and thinner. As a result, much stricter needs for the accuracy tolerances of motor stamping dies have been required.

In the manufacture of leadframes, requirements have shifted to thinner products as well as ultra-multi-pins and multi-row products and, in order to secure the specifications of products, strict accuracy for leadframe die is required same as in the case of motor stamping dies.

Under such circumstances, considering the technical innovation in future five to ten years and in order to challenge the production of dies of sub-micron order from those of micron order, we judged it necessary to have a new factory capable of controlling constant temperature, constant humidity and cleanliness, and constructed a new tool and die manufacturing factory.

At present, our company's technology that has been producing ultra-precision dies meets the needs of automobile industry intending to extend hybrid cars (environmentally suitable cars); contributing to the development and supply of products that are given consciousness to global environment.

Education and fostering of company employees

Training Through FilingIn order to apply the base technology of our company, that is, ultra-precision die manufacturing technology to the manufacture of products that meet the needs of the times, it is especially important to sustain the expert knowledge, technology and skill relating to the products.

For such purposes, we are practicing re-education of employees and education and transfer of technique to engineers and technicians through "Filing" training at a dedicated training center.
