Motor core is made into a completed product by laminating multiple sheets of electrical steel. Given the same core size, thinner steel means higher motor efficiency.
It has been regarded as difficult to laminate electrical steel sheets having 0.2mm or less thickness and, thus, laser bonding is a common alternative. However, in the case of laser bonding, additional equipment is necessary.
Recognizing this point and desiring to meet the demand for more compact and more efficient motors in the future, we have extended our interlocking technology for laminating electrical steel sheets of 0.15mm thickness.
Product made of 0.15mm thickness sheets
Currently, motor cores of up to 23 mm outside diameter have been successfully made with 0.15mm thick material, and those of larger outside diameter are also available on demand. Please feel free to consult us.
