Donation to the National Japanese American Memorial Foundation
(National Japanese American Memorial Foundation)
In appreciation of achievement by not only the Japanese Americans who were born in the States but also the Japanese immigrants to the States who contributed to American society, this foundation donated 100,000 dollars for the plan to build a memorial park in the center of Washington D.C. (In 1999)

We learnt a lot from America and grew to be the present Mitsui High-tec as a worldwide enterprise through the business transactions with American enterprises. The fact worthy of special mention here is that many examples in adopting new technologies and new products in our company are originated in those of American enterprises. In consideration of such historical fact, we agreed to above-mentioned plan to verify the achievement of Japanese-parentage people forever.
