Mitsui High-tec Inc., as an environmentally advanced enterprise since foundation, has determined to devote itself entirely to keep harmony between business activity and preservation of global environment with "To be an enterprise friendly to global environment." being the basic idea,　as well as handing down the rich earth to the remotest descendants under the slogan “Resource and energy saving is the greatest gift to descendants.”

-Basic Policy-

We have a long-accumulated ultra-precision technology base that distinguishes our company in the world. Making use of this technology base, we improve the technology of manufacturing ultra-thin IC leadframe and motors cores and supply products having less environmental load in every industrial fields from home electrical appliances to automobile parts, wishing that every member of the company contributes to the world people by fulfilling the company's motto "We shall provide products which people in the world needs"

1.	We promote sustainable improvement through the operation of environment management system that properly conforms to business activity, products and services in combination with environmental performance.
	(1)	We promote the sustainable improvement by setting the purpose and target of environmental activity through environmental education to all the members of the company and public information activity.
	(2)	We promote the prevention of environmental pollution by setting our own control standard as well as complying with legal regulations concerning environment and other requirements to which we agreed.
	(3)	We contribute to the maintenance and improvement of environment in local community by accurately grasping the factors giving ill influence to environment and surely prevent environmental pollution.
	(4)	We take regular and precise internal environmental assessment by raising the level of internal environmental assessors, and we improve and maintain the system continuously.
	(5)	We have cooperation to prevent environmental pollution and mitigate the environmental load in addition to the external audit, by promoting awareness of our environmental policy affiliated firms, trust traders, contractors, and suppliers.
2.	We make efforts in promoting resource and energy saving, waste recycling and emission control.
	(1)	We promote resource and energy saving by establishing a system of “Not making NG products”, “Not handing over NG products to next process” and “Not making waste”, as well as reducing the consumption of main raw materials and principal sub-materials.
	(2)	We aim at promotion of resource recovery, resource recycling and zero emission, implementing reduction of disposal emission.
	(3)	We establish a system of green procurement of materials that impose fewer loads to environment.
	(4)	We promote “energy saving” to protect and improve resources by improving the efficiency of electricity and utility in order to achieve the target of global warming prevention.
	(5)	We reduce the influence of our products on environment by giving full consideration to environment at the planning phase, taking thoroughgoing production management and making further improvement of production technology.
3.	We make efforts to control environmental pollution by enhancing the management system for limiting the use of environment pollution-related substances and promoting the use of materials having lighter environmental load.
	(1)	We establish an environmental quality assurance system for the disuse of substances whose application and inclusion are prohibited.
	(2)	We promote the alternation for environmentally managed substances whose application is to be prohibited in future.
	(3)	We reduce the consumption of environmental pollutants such as chemical substances, organic solvents and oils.
4.	We encourage the greening activity in the company in order to contribute to preservation of global environment.
5.	We release the contents of environmental activities to the public according to need, as well as making cooperation and collaboration with regional society.
6.	We review the environmental policy every year in order to reflect the result of review to the purpose and target of environmental activity, promoting sustainable improvement.

The environmental policy is to be known thoroughly to all the personnel working at our company by exhibiting it at each workshop and, at the same time, announced to the public.
