Mitsui has a system of examination according to qualification based on its own functional qualification system.

Qualification of managerial members (upper grade employees) is classified into the job status of comprehensive staff and advanced engineer. The comprehensive staff status covers six steps from assistant manager to director general, while the advanced engineer status covers four steps from Grade-2 Engineer to Mitsui Meister.

We further provide a follow-up education to the members who passed the examination and promoted in their job status.
